Resounding Joy trains volunteer Joy Givers to provide a supportive and healing music environment to Joy Receivers referred by both community-based and faith-based organizations.

Joy Receivers may be . . .
. homeless individuals served by Third Avenue Charitable Organization
. older adults confined to rehabilitation or adult day care programs
shim. children and adults homebound by illness or physical disability
. children enrolled in Sound Minds, an early-intervention program
made possible by California School Age Families Education

Could someone you know benefit from a Joy Giver?

· a recently widowed grandparent?
· a homebound 30-year-old recovering from a motorcycle accident?
· a retirement community wellness group?
· a care-giver for an existing Joy Receiver?
· an individual coping with disease or loss?
· a lonely 95-year-old living next door?
. a friend with chronic pain needing coping strategies and companionship?

Refer new Joy Receivers to Lindsay Hirata, Resounding Joy Referrals Coordinator, by email.
