Guitars in the Classroom, Resounding Joy, the Playing for Change Foundation, and Kids for Peace will offer a wide selection of items including one of a kind artisan gifts, experiences, musical instruments- some signed by celebrities, local goodies, and gift certificates for personal lessons.
Proceeds from the 11-day event, titled Peace & Love Through Music, will fund free musical programs, music therapy, training and supplies offered by the four groups.

Benefit Concert: Heart of a Child An uplifting night of music that you don't want to miss

Tickets are now on sale for the second annual "Heart of a Child Concert" with proceeds benefitting the Ariana Fund. This concert features some of the best young musical talent in San Diego with special musical guest Eve Selis.
The Ariana Fund, created in 2008 in memory of Ariana Miller, is dedicated to improving the lives of children with complex congenital heart disease. We have already given over $25,000 in grants to local organizations in support of our mission. Please join us for an evening of memorable music to support a great local charity. Pacific Home Foundation Donates $5,000 to expand Junior Joy Giver program to the Wesley Palms Retirement Community
Students from local San Diego high school and elementary schools will participate in a multi-generational training program in experiential hands-on recreational music activities with older adults. Students will learn to implement music strategies to interact and connect with older adults. High school students from San Diego Charter School-North Park, Mission Bay High School-Pacific Beach, and Canyon Crest Academy-Carmel Valley are initially trained and then will assist and mentor younger students from Kate Sessions and St. Paul's Lutheran Schools both in Pacific Beach. Resounding Joy receives $10,000 grant for military programming
$10,000 was donated to Resounding Joy Inc.to purchase musical instruments for the music therapy program for active-duty military and their families. Resounding Joy helps service members in San Diego County with traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder and combat stress.
