Enroll your kids in August Junior Joy Giver Outreach!

In 2008, Resounding Joy expanded the possibilities of its mission by adding an intergenerational component that pairs youth and older adults in music-making. Board-certified music therapists provide all necessary training. Called Junior Joy Givers, youth between the ages of eight and 18 learn team building, group cohesion techniques, songs, musical instrument playing, and how to relate to older adults. After completing Junior Joy Giver training, graduates then volunteer music-making outreach to older-adult residents at retirement communities in their own neighborhoods.
