Junior Joy Giver Training
Ages 8–18, August
Beginning August 2009, Resounding Joy will launch a new summer volunteer music outreach for children and youth ages 8 through 18. Upon completion of training, children and teen Junior Joy Givers will volunteer their musicality while creatively helping others within an intergenerational-service setting in San Diego County.
Junior Joy Givers engage in group drumming, singing, and other music-making experiences with the support of and under the supervision of Resounding Joy mentors . Teen Joy Givers will use developing musical and leadership skills in community settings, and they also will assist in training younger Junior Joy Givers.
Registering interest in the August Junior Joy Giver program will help determine dates, times, and location of training.
